Cooking with Fat Sparrow – Butcher’s Block 101

Join Chef Nick in his happy place – at the butcher block!
We’ve had a lot of requests for a “Steak 101” class, where we’d teach you all you need to know to have success at the grill, or the frying pan, as you’ll learn.
Instead, we bring you “Butcher’s Block 101” where each participant will receive an ingredient box containing everything you need to cook alongside Nick. We will explore different cuts and different cooking methods as well as some unique and easy accoutrements to adorn each beautifully prepared steak!
Each kit will come with 4 very different steak cuts: Tenderloin, Sirloin, Hanger Steak and – the King of Steaks – the Bone-In Ribeye! Let us take the guessing game out of cooking showpiece steaks and give you the confidence you need to cook some truly special hunks of beef! This lesson is meant to feed two “Nicks” but for those of you without the digestive system of a caveman, you may wan’t to add a couple seats to the table.
Warning: this isn’t exactly a balanced meal but a steak lovers excuse to gorge. BYOS (bring your own salad).
